On a picture-perfect spring day, hundreds of members of the VA Bio+Tech Park took a lunch break with their neighbors in the shady confines of the Valentine Museum gardens.
Activation Capital presented the 2025 VA Bio+Tech Park Spring Festival as a chance for the members of the Park to enjoy food, music, and a chance to both catch up with old friends and make some new ones.
Five food trucks offered attendees a wide range of dining options. These were complemented by dessert carts providing homemade cookies and gelato. Local Richmond band “The Royal We” provided a steady stream of favorite tunes to keep the crowd entertained over the course of three hours.
This was the first time since the end of the COVID pandemic that this type of event had been held for the Bio+Tech Park members. Due to the high attendance and overwhelmingly positive response, a summer festival is in the planning stages for August.
